PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM
The CSS program is an innovative job training program designed to meet the growing demand for bilingual/bicultural customer service professionals.
CSS is the newest professional development curriculum initiated by NLEI to address the shortage of qualified bilingual personnel in this field. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES: A 29-week program, including 140-contact hour externship focusing on providing exceptional talent for employers by preparing candidates for service and sales careers.
For Successful entry into the program candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, an admissions interview; pass a Spanish proficiency exam and placement test.
CSS CURRICULUM ACHIEVEMENTS
Graduates are awarded with a Certificate of Completion that supports a solid foundation in sales and customer service and is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Instructors at NLEI are approved by the Illinois State Board of Education. Students learn from faculty with advanced degrees who are experts in their fields.
The CSS program creates an environment that mirrors the business world: in the classroom and while onsite at NLEI, students are required to dress appropriately and to respond to business situations in a professional manner. The program is conducted during regular business hours requiring punctuality and dependability.
National Latino Education Institute is providing Customer Service and Sales
Vocational Program Grants. The aim is to improve student achievement
and skill development for Latinos. Eligibility extends to all students accepted
into the program and covers cost of tuition.
Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Job placement assistance is available to all graduates
